The Royal Opera House backstage tour takes you around the auditorium and behind the scenes, often with a chance to see the Royal Ballet in class.
The Palladium
The London Palladium is a Grade II West End theatre located on Argyll Street, London, in the famous area of Soho. Founded in 1910 one word sums up its history, ‘variety’.
The O2 Greenwich Peninsula – programme of events
The O2 is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, England, including an indoor arena, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas, bars and restaurants. It was built largely within the former Millennium Dome, a large dome-shaped canopy built to house an exhibition celebrating the turn of the third millennium; consequently The Dome remains a name in common usage for the venue.
Sadlers Wells
As one of the world’s leading dance organisations, Sadlers Wells has been dedicated to dance and the arts in all its forms for more than three centuries. The site in Clerkenwell is home to the Lilian Bayliss Studio and the Peacock Theatre is in Portugal Street WC2A 2HT.
Albert Hall
Known as one of London’s most iconic venues it seats more than 5,000 but held a record audience of 9,000 in 1906 for a gramophone (phonograph) concert. Today the hall is the London home of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and it is the venue of the annual ‘Proms’ (Sir Henry Wood Promenade Concerts).
London Coliseum
The London Coliseum in St Martin’s Lane was built as one of London’s largest and most luxurious ‘family’ variety theatres opening on 24 December 1904 as the London Coliseum Theatre of Varieties. ENO, the English National Opera, Britain’s only full-time repertory opera company is based at the London Coliseum.
Southbank Centre

Shakespeare’s Globe is a world-renowned performing arts venue, cultural attraction and education centre located on the bank of the River Thames in London.
