St Patricks Day Celebrations
Flamboyant pageantry, elaborate floats, marching bands from across the UK, sports clubs and Irish dancing schools take part in the annual London St Patrick’s Day Parade in March. The procession sets off from Piccadilly and makes its way along a 1.5-mile (2.4km) route, passing some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including The Ritz, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and onto Whitehall. Join the St Patrick’s Day Festival, which takes place in Trafalgar Square, and watch performances by well-known Irish acts, rising stars and special guests. Browse craft stalls, and tuck into traditional and modern Irish food from the market. There is also usually a family zone on Pall Mall East, hosting an array of free child-friendly entertainment, workshops and activities.
Taste of London Regents Park
Discover a tantalising selection of London’s top restaurants and Chefs at the Taste of London festival in Regent’s Park. For five summer days every year, the park in central London is transformed into a foodie wonderland as London’s best restaurants gather to show off the hottest dishes from their extensive menus. Watch live cooking demonstrations, meet some of the capital’s leading chefs, participate in masterclasses and shop at food and drink stalls.
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
One of the UK’s most popular winter events during November until the beginning of January. Winter Wonderland is FREE to enter and soak up the festive atmosphere. There are a number of ticketed attractions that can be purchased online in advance, or from box offices at the event. Tickets sell out quickly, especially at weekends, so we recommend booking in advance for the UK’s Largest Open-Air Ice Rink, the Magical Ice Kingdom ice and snow experience, thrilling Circus Shows, the Giant Wheel, Ice Sculpting Workshops, Bar Ice, Christmas karaoke in Bar Hutte, and the Winter Wonderland Comedy Club. Attraction tickets go on sale in August.
