Spring Stays In London
From Valentine's Day to Bank Holidays
Spring is the perfect time to visit London because there are fewer tourists, so you can enjoy outdoor activities and sightseeing without the crowds.
Reasons to choose a stay in London this Spring could be; a romantic gesture (ask us to dress your room with rose petals and more to surprise your partner on arrival), celebrating with family on Eid al-Fitr, a treat for Mum on Mothering Sunday weekend, Easter egg hunts with the children in Hyde Park and long weekends over Bank Holidays.
There’s still a touch of frost in the air but that’s the beauty of London in the spring a good excuse to rise early and head to the park. We are steps from the Royal Hyde Park. Discover the Princess Diana Memorial Gardens, and head towards Kensington Gardens. Stroll along the banks of the Serpentine to catch early morning swimmers plunging into the freezing water pools, or, hire a Santander bike to take in the monuments throughout the park, wildlife meadows and Rotten Row.
Stay local, head a short walk north of the hotel to discover vibrant Portobello Road’s historic markets, antique as well as vintage. Notting Hill has rows of multi-coloured regency villas – perfect for Instagram feeds! If you take the nearby Westway you will view incredible street artwork before taking you to the stunning views of the West London canal.
If it is iconic attractions and destinations, you are looking for; Knightsbridge, Buckingham Palace and The Albert Hall are across the park as are the Natural History and Victoria and Albert Museums. We are central to Westfield and Oxford Street for shopping.
During April and May annual events like the London Marathon, the Boat Race, and RHS Chelsea Flower Show are awaited with much excitement by our guests.
Prices for flights and accommodation are usually lower compared to the peak tourist season. So, a visit to London in spring is a blend of beauty, convenience, and affordability!
